Be your personal best!
Pursuit Health and Performance can make professional fitness and conditioning an affordable reality for you, allowing you to get maximal results from your training and achieve your goals.
Beginning with a complete assessment of your goals, posture, movement, performance capabilities, nutritional and hormonal balance, I will then design and guide you through a targeted and structured training and nutritional program, developing all aspects of physical performance (including speed, power, endurance, agility etc), as well as eliminating any weak links which may limit your achievements or cause injury. Training sessions can also be taken as sports massage sessions at no extra cost.
"I spent the best part of a year out with a dislocated knee and undergoing surgery, but with Chris's help I will be in peak physical and mental shape when I go to New Zealand to continue playing professional rugby later this year". Joe Smart, professional rugby player & Hartpury scholarship graduate.
I am currently working with Steve Evans, a national top three tennis player and coach at East Glos tennis club, and have previously worked with professional athletes in football and rugby. I have also worked as a conditioning coach at Dean Close School, Cheltenham, working with the talented scholarship students, delivering all aspects of strength and conditioning, with special responsibility for the movement screening & injury prevention program. In addition, I am also currently reading for the Accredited Strength Conditioning Coach qualification, awarded by the UK Stength & Conditioning Asscoiation. This certification demonstrates the ability to plan long term training programs and to coach plyometrics, Olympic weight lifting, speed and acceleration, strength and power, and all other aspect of sports performance.
As well as one-to-one strength and conditioning, I can also work with small training groups of up to four, and deliver workshops, seminars and consultancyservcies to teams, clubs or groups of athletes. There are many benefits to training in a small group. It spreads the cost and makes it incredible value for money. As an athlete, you are a naturally competitive person, and bringing this competitive edge to a training group will only make your perfomances sky rocket. The competitive spirit that ALWAYS emerges in a small group will make sure that you are always pushing yourself that little bit further.
Training with like minded people will not only make you push yourself past your existing limits, its a great way of discovering how other people train, as well as getting professional training and nutritional advice at a much reduced cost. It doesn't matter if you already have a group of friends who want to train together, or if you want to join a group yourself, for more info, please contact me now.
