Injury Rehab Cheltenham

Injury RehabAt some point, everyone will have an injury which stops them doing the things they want to do. If the injury is not rehabilitated properly, it will not heal properly, and it will keep coming back.  But worse, the body will compensate and putting extra sress on other body parts, making them more likely to be injured.

If you have an injury which doesn’t need hospital treatment, your first contact should be a physiotherapist. If you’ve been to hospital, you should still contact a physio as soon as you get out. Proper rehab in these early staged in crucial. However, most physios will only get you back to a point where you can perform normal daily activities to a satisfactory level. They will not prepare you physically to return to sport, or to avoid injury in the future. That’s what I do. If your not convinced, just read the testimonials below.

InjuryHaving spent the best part of a year out with a dislocated knee and after undergoing surgery, I found it hard to get motivated to get back in shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Chris assessed my needs very closely and gave me a pathway to follow, helping me to go from a very unfit 120kg to a lean 110kg and get motivated, even when i couldn't play rugby. Not only has Chris got me healthy again, but also fit enough to get back into training and return to playing rugby. I have been hitting personal bests every session since the very first one, and I am now bigger, stronger, fitter and faster than ever, and with Chris's help I will be in peak physical and mental shape when i go to New Zealand to continue playing professional rugby later this year.
